Odd question, but i am getting a breast reduction and also getting my mirena IUD taken out. The IUD hormones caused me to gain alot of weight so i will be working hard to lose it. If i lose weight after a breast reduction and my breasts get smaller will the get droopy again? Has anyone lost weight after a reduction? How can you keep them from getting droopy?

i had a breast reduction in oct 08. my breasts are still perky from the surgery. i would expect that not too much would happen to your breasts. maybe you would lose some weight in them, but not a significant amount. breasts are mostly breast tissue, not fatty cells. but depending on how much you have to lose, maybe effect the results. ask you surgeon what s/he expects would happen.
